The Whole Bloomin' Thing - Saturday 5/11/13 9am-4pm

It’s spring, it’s Mother’s Day, and it’s time for The Whole Bloomin’ Thing! One of our favorite local events held to kick off the growing season here in the mountains. Stroll our Historic Frog Level and enjoy beautiful flowering baskets, vegetable and herb starts, berry bushes and potted ornamental plants. Even the local Master Gardeners will be on hand if you need a little help with your garden.

Also on hand are local artisans featuring hand-crafted, nature inspired gifts and crafts, from baskets and birdhouses, to soaps and stemware, pottery & Jewelry to metal sculptures and flower planters.

You won’t go hungry, there will be an assortment of food venders dolling out such local goodies as BBQ, hamburgers, homemade preserves and jellies, veggie wraps, ice cream and desserts.

Live music and entertainment will keep the place jumping all day, with Chris Minick, Frog Level Philharmonic, Marshall Ballew, The Ross Brothers with the J Creek Cloggers and Caleb Burress.
